When it comes to Game of War: Fire Age, I must say it is hard to pick my jaw up off the floor. This is a game filled with every possible outcome you could think of in your mind. You can craft some amazing items, research new upgrades and tiers of troops, traps, etc., participate in some crazy fun and challenging events that really put your best strategies to the test. The outcomes can be outrageously enormous, or in other cases... Things I'm not too fond to speak of.
I've been playing this game for maybe a month and a half. At first it looked like another one of those typical city builder games you find on mobile app stores. It didn't look too special, but it was one of the top games on the Apple App Store, so I decided to give it a shot. Within the first hour I was balls deep in an amazing adventure. This game really knows how to suck you in. It has enough content to keep you busy for hours on end, but not enough to keep you completely lost and overwhelmed.
Within the first two weeks, I got a hang of how to succeed and strategize based on the constant events taking place, upgrades that needed to come first, and the items you are able to craft. This is not a game where you just play casually to blow off time. This is a game that begins to become a full time job of discovering the best strategies you can and planning your next move. When you aren't playing, you are sitting back with a notepad taking notes (or at least you SHOULD be) on building upgrades, researches, and items to craft. You are also scouting out other players and planning on who you will take over next.
This game, even when things go wrong, has yet to disappoint me. Winning some and losing some is all part of any game. This game just knows how to make you want to play more even when you lose. It is a five star game on my list of favorites.
Thank you for reading,
